Look beyond the belt
A good first question is how the class is taught. Notice whether instructions are clear, whether students receive encouragement, and how the instructor responds when someone needs extra support.
Consider the age group
A preschooler and a twelve-year-old have different needs. Ask how the activities, pace, and expectations change for your child’s age. At Freedom Martial Arts, our children’s programs are divided into Tiny Tigers, Lil’ Ninjas, and Young Warriors.
Share what matters to your family
Tell the instructor what your child enjoys, what can be challenging, and what you hope they will gain. That conversation helps us understand how to make the first class welcoming.
Try a class together
A visit tells you more than a description can. See how your child responds and leave time to ask questions. Our complimentary first class is an opportunity to explore the fit.
